Ajijaak (the Crane) lives in the marsh. The marsh is full of life and color. There are many birds. The creek feeds the marsh. Ajijaak visits the creek and drinks the water. “A children’s story that follows a crane living in a marsh. The text covers basic nouns for several birds and several words for color. The crane visits a source of water and drinks from it. The book ends asking us to care about the water.
